With its Baade 152 jetliner the GDR aviation industry wasn't successful. It crashed shortly after the maiden flight in 1958. Nevertheless they planned several further aircraft. One of these was the Dresden-153A. The Editor Lorenz-Buch published some interesting pages from a book relating the realizations achieved. A severe accident occurred during an engine test ended the project.

The website of the German high level transport simulator program "Transport Fever Community" published a post mentioning and showing some other interesting airliner projects which were planned. Due to the collapse of the GDR in 1989, these never couldn't be realized. But its very amazing anyway. An English version is included too.
